Does It Cost Anything Extra?
You do not pay anything extra to use home delivery and there is no charge for standard shipping.
Can I Save on Prescription Drugs?
Yes. If your plan includes prescription drug coverage, you may be able to save up to $49 for a 90-day supply of prescription medications (depending on the plan you are in and the tier your drug is on) with OptumRx Home Delivery Pharmacy. That’s a potential savings of up to $196 a year!* With home delivery, your medications are conveniently mailed to your home.
How Do I Sign Up for Home Delivery?
Signing up for home delivery is easy. You can sign up online, by phone, or by mail:
- Online: Visit OptumRx.com.
- By phone: HMO: 1-800-299-7648, PPO: 1-800-460-0322. Have your Tufts Health Plan member ID number, prescription number(s), and credit card information ready whenever you call.
- By mail: Complete the order form on our website. You should receive your order in approximately two weeks.
If your drug has special restrictions (such as prior authorization or step therapy), more information may be needed before processing your order. A representative will let you know if any additional steps are required.
If your drug has no special restrictions, a representative will call your doctor to get your prescription(s) set up for mail service. Once your prescription(s) are set up, you can refill them by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
*Applies to Rx plans. Maximum savings are for Tier 2 drugs. Savings may be different depending on the plan you are in or if you receive your benefits from a current or former employer.
